eBooks still some way away from students
Twelve-year-old Tang Yin is one of the earliest students to test a digital textbook in China. The Paris Roller is well known because of the huge attendance, the presence of marshals and the police protection. Paris is a great city for roller-skating because of its long wide streets and smooth surfaces. Roller-skating is also becoming more popular in China among young people and children. When Han Duan started her professional career at 16, China’s national women’s football team was defeated in the final of the World Cup by the US. While she was asked to play in her first World Cup in 2003, she largely remained on the bench after the first match.

Many Chinese high school students are tired of their parents’ nagging（嘮叨）. They think their parents’ high expectations are burdens (負擔). But a recent survey found that they are much luckier than teenagers in Japan, the Republic of Korea and the US, who also find their parents annoying .
