In America，you might go to the emergency room if you are very sick，especially if your doctor or a parent feels that you need medical attention right away．In the emergency room，the doctors and nurses will take care of you and help you feel better．If you need to stay at the hospital at night，nurses will take you and your parents to your hospital room.
Once you’re in the hospital room，you may have a room all to yourself，but sometimes you will share one with another kid．Your room will have a bed that has buttons to make parts of the bed move up and down．A curtain can be pulled around your bed so that you cannot be seen when you’re resting or changing your clothes．There are usually lights that you can turn on and off．There is a special button to push that will call the nurse if you need anything.
